The gTech Business Solutions Architect acts as a trusted advisor for key stakeholders in Google's Ads ecosystem, focusing on data and tools. Responsibilities include developing and owning an integrated roadmap translating Data and Tools strategy into a technical delivery plan, collaborating with various Google teams (gTech Ads group, gSO, and gAPT) to create annual plans, aligning short-term and long-term goals, and working with technical development teams for successful strategy launch. The role requires close collaboration with business sponsors and technical delivery teams to understand business needs and define appropriate solutions. A strong background in customer-side web technologies, data analysis, project management, and technical troubleshooting is essential.
Must have:
  • 12+ years experience with web technologies, data analysis, and SQL
  • 12+ years project management & troubleshooting experience
  • Develop and own integrated roadmap for Data & Tools strategy
  • Collaborate with Google teams for annual planning and execution
Good to have:
  • Experience in global organizations with complex workflows
  • Expertise in large Ads ecosystems, Customer Systems & integrations
  • Experience driving data organization and governance

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience with customer-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript), data analysis, and SQL/MySQL.
  • 12 years of experience managing projects and doing technical troubleshooting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing within global organizations with a product portfolio, complex workflows and a widely varied workforce.
  • Experience in leading through ambiguity and making decisions by uncovering underlying issues patterns and applying structured frameworks.
  • Experience in driving data organization and governance to create accurate, useful data.
  • Expertise in large Ads ecosystems, Customer Systems and technical solutions integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor for the key stakeholders within Google’s Ads ecosystem on the Data and Tools front through close collaboration with the business sponsors and the technical delivery teams.
  • Develop and own an integrated roadmap translating the Data and Tools strategy into a technical delivery plan by understanding the business needs and defining the right solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with gTech Ads group, gSO and gAPT to create an annual plan along with clear action items and owners.
  • Align the current short-term tactical goals with the long-term goals to create a roadmap devoid of business disruptions.
  • Work with technical development teams to ensure the strategy is developed and launched across various organizations with effectiveness and success.
