Job Description

As an Inside Sales Account Representative at Trellix, you will be responsible for driving revenue within a designated geographical area. You'll manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, working with a team to define technical aspects of sales. Your role involves managing your own pipeline, meeting revenue targets, and driving demand for Trellix products and services. This includes identifying potential customers, presenting solutions, and closing sales. Collaboration with technical resources is essential for understanding customer needs and providing expertise, including driving Proof of Concepts (POCs) and various go-to-market (GTM) activities, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling Trellix products based on customer needs. You will be expected to generate demand with resellers and end-user customers and growing mind-share, product awareness, and business relationships.

Role Overview:

The Inside Sales Account Representative at Trellix, will be a results-driven, self-starter with a consultative sales nature who can truly enable the growth of their sales career in the hottest market sector – security software. You will manage a geographically designated, book of commercial business and will be responsible for revenue delivery. You will be part of a multi-disciplined team including Sales Engineers, to help define technical aspects of the sale. Successful candidates will have direct experience managing and owning individual pipeline of opportunities, with closed/won revenue aligned with assigned metrics and targets.

Objectives may include revenue, margin, volume, MSS, product mix as defined by management. Responsible for driving incremental demand creation effort with customers for developing Trellix products, solutions, or services. Identifies potential customers, initiating a sales relationship, preparing and presenting a solution, and finalizing the sales process. Leverage internal technical resources as needed to meet customer solution requirements. Has a understanding of the portfolio of Trellix software products and solutions and introduces potential customers to Trellix software products and software/hardware solutions. Analyzes the customer environment to understand customer needs and collaborates with technical resources to provide expertise as needed to meet customer requirements. Works closely with customers to drive POC's and/or various GTM activities. Upsells/cross sell Trellix products and solutions based on customer need. Has decision-making/negotiating authority within generally defined guidelines with some room for interpretation. Generates demand with resellers and end-user customers and growing mind-share, product awareness, and business relationships.
