Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on building and maintaining relationships with clients within the Black community in Brazil. Responsibilities include understanding client business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project completion; achieving growth goals through effective presentation of Google advertising products; developing data-driven recommendations; and building expertise in Google's advertising offerings. Fluency in English and Portuguese is crucial. The role requires strong client management, analytical, and communication skills, along with experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media. This is a pipeline effort to generate interest among Black+ individuals in Brazil.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluency in English & Portuguese

  • Data-driven analysis & recommendations
Good to have:
  • Experience with channel sales, advertisers, agencies
  • Paid digital advertising campaign management (Google Ads)
  • Portfolio management in advertising/media sales
  • Storytelling as a client engagement strategy

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently as this is a client facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged selling.
  • Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Experience in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, to achieve goals and drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard.
  • Plan and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet marketing objectives.
