Seeking a compassionate and motivated Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for prospective clients needing assistance with Social Security Disability applications. Responsibilities include guiding clients through the intake process, explaining eligibility and the benefits of services, answering inbound/outbound calls, accurately documenting all interactions, and meeting performance standards. The role involves promoting and selling the company's services to prospects. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The range is $13.00 - $16.00 per hour, with an ability to earn a performance-based bonus up to $500 month.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Intake Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients seeking assistance with their Social Security Disability applications. Your primary responsibility will be to guide clients through the intake process, ensuring they understand their eligibility and the benefits of our services. 
 
An Intake Specialist’s primary duties include, but are not limited to: 
  • Answering inbound/outbound calls from prospective clients looking for help with applying for Social Security Disability Benefits
  • Properly complete the intake form using our proprietary Customer Relationship System (CRM)
  • Explain Social Security Disability eligibility, benefits and our requirements, expectations and standards.
  • Positively promote and sell the benefits of using our services to all prospects.
  • Accurately document all contact with prospects, enter all information and outcomes in accordance with current company policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed specific performance standards approved by management. Standards may change to better reflect the job duties and business needs.
Qualifications: 
  • Previous experience in a call center environment
  • Ability to show great empathy and concern for others
  • Customer service orientation; energetic and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to communicate professionally, effectively and with empathy in potentially difficult circumstances.
  • Multitasking skills and the detail-oriented focus required for a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic PC knowledge, working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Internet and mainstream web browsers.
  • BILINGUAL - English/Spanish a plus.
