Junior AP Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior AP Accountant with 1-3 years of experience to join our growing global shared service center team, based in Milan, that serves Keywords studios globally.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and related documentation. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient communication.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• English at least at level B2
• 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly accurate.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of Netsuite Oracle will be considered a plus
