As a Lead VFX Artist at Virtuos, you'll be responsible for the high performance and quality of the VFX department. You'll create high-quality real-time VFX assets in different art styles, optimize VFX, and solve technical, creative, and organizational issues within your team and with other team members. You'll need at least 3 years of experience in GameDev, experience in leadership of a VFX department, and a strong understanding of real-time rendering techniques, shaders, physics, lighting, PBR, etc. You'll also need experience with Amplify Shader Editor and Unity, proficiency with 3ds Max/Maya/Blender or similar software, and a good understanding of VFX optimization for real-time. You'll have a broad range of artistic styles, passion for creating high-quality particle effects and textures, and strong core art skills, including an understanding of composition, form, silhouette, color, and light theory. A2 English level is required. Plus points for experience with dynamics and simulations packages, scripting experience, passion for video games, and a never-ending thirst for learning and growth.
