About the Role:

As our Supervisor of Propulsion and Cooling Systems, you will take the lead in overseeing cooling system responsibilities throughout the entire lifecycle of our vehicles—from initial concept to end of life. Your expertise will be crucial in concept studies, thermal system design, prototype procurement, supplier management, validation, launch, and beyond. You will be the key technical point of contact, ensuring our cooling systems meet all functional and performance requirements while achieving cost, weight, investment, timing, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cooling system projects from concept to completion
• Conduct thermal system design, cost, and weight analysis
• Manage suppliers and coordinate procurement and validation processes
• Resolve technical issues across all stages of the program
• Represent cooling systems as a visible member of the launch team
• Ensure compliance with functional and performance requirements
• Manage resources and communicate status to stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited)
• 5-7+ years of experience with automotive cooling and HVAC components
• Strong leadership with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to lead without formal authority
• Experience in program management and supplier management
• Knowledge of automotive underhood/underbody packaging
• High proficiency in MS Office tools and UG/NX CAD systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of electric vehicle thermal systems
• Experience in component costing and thermodynamics
• Familiarity with powertrain software, controls, and DFSS quality tools
