Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and day-to-day support to cross-functional groups responsible for auditor, regulator, and third-party relationships.
Monitor organizational processes, and internal controls and perform analysis to measure program effectiveness and compliance; complete appropriate documentation.
Support legal approvals associates as needed, including reviewing marketing and advertising materials for content clearance, messaging, and disclosures, and preparing contest and other promotion rules.
Conduct legal research or projects and provide practical advice as needed.
Support the ongoing development of internal policies and guidance for privacy and data governance practices;
Coordinate with outside counsel as necessary
Qualifications:
Practicing attorney with 5+ years of experience in the areas of intellectual property law and/or entertainment law, including 3+ years of in-house legal department work experience.
Experience working in a foreign corporate culture is required.
Experience working at or with a major video game publisher or media company is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work independently on diverse matters, successfully lead cross-functional projects, and be comfortable finding creative and practical solutions;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, impeccable integrity, good judgment, strong analytical skills;
Comfortable in an international work environment and ability to manage a diverse and complex workload;
Certified lawyer to practice in China.
