Mercer is seeking a Management Consulting Intern (student-worker) to join their Career team in Stockholm, Sweden. This is a unique opportunity to balance your studies with a rewarding role in the consulting industry, approximately 1-3 days per week.
Mercer's Career team specializes in advising organisations on various aspects of employee rewards and organizational job structures, including executive compensation, career and remuneration, incentive design, job evaluation, job architectures, skills and performance management. They help companies develop effective reward strategies and implement programs that attract, retain, and engage employees.
This internship may offer the opportunity to transition to a permanent role for the right candidate after successful completion of the internship and studies.

The role: Management Consulting Intern
We will count on you to:
- Assist the Career team in developing customer presentations and proposals.
- Support in various projects at an analytical level.
- Collaborate closely with consultants to learn and gain hands-on experience in HR strategies and processes.
What you need to have:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (master’s is a plus) in economics, business studies, statistics, or a related field (ideally in your 2nd or 3rd year).
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A detailed approach to tasks, with the ability to think critically, and learn new processes and systems quickly.

- Previous experience or coursework related to consulting, HR, or compensation strategies.
- A proactive and independent mindset, with a willingness to take initiative and tackle various tasks.
- Local residency in Stockholm, with flexibility to work at least 8 hours over 1-3 days per week.
