About the job:

EveryMatrix is looking to add an enthusiastic Manual QA Tester, with a real passion for technology and growth, to our growing team in Bucharest!  You will be part of the EMFE department. Working on the group level, EveryMatrix Front-End (short EMFE) is the department that manages everything related to the front-end: from some banners or the need for a logo to a fully functional, cutting-edge online casino. We are composed of the following teams: Bespoke Team, Business Team, QA Team, Products team, and Widgets team. This position is open inside the QA Team. We use a wide array of technologies, and we love to stay on the bleeding edge. It’s an exciting product (especially for us and hopefully for you) and we’re looking for people who are ready to face a challenge, analyses existing functionality and transform and adapt it into something great using the latest stack of Web technologies. 

What you'll get to do:

  • Define, develop and implement quality assurance best practices and procedures: test plans, test cases 
  • Constantly identifies high-quality bugs based on department standards and performs accurate regressions of existing bugs
  • Conduct root cause analysis on the identified defects, providing sufficient details to understand, replicate and resolve the defect
  • Perform End-to-End testing
  • Black Box Testing, Grey Box Testing 
  • Exploratory, Smoke, Regression Testing 
  • Perform tests on both Front End and Back End 
  • Shares constructive opinions with team members and everyone involved in the project/product
  • Participate and actively contribute during team meetings (demos, retrospectives, planning 
  • Support developers in the identification and reproduction of bugs, work closely to deliver quality software 
  • Keep track of the amount of time spent on each task and log it using the official company tools (JIRA) 


What You need to shine:

  • Knowledge in working with issue trackers like JIRA 
  • Experience in working with test management tools like TestRail
  • Accuracy in reporting issues, all steps to reproduce and observed behaviour
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures
  • Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes
  • Experience with testing on various platforms (Mobile, Desktop etc.)
  • Understanding and proven aptitude in defect identification, research, review, documentation, communication and assessment.
  • Understanding and proven aptitude in test case management within a designated timeframe 
  • Demonstrated prioritization skills
