As a Marketing Strategy Manager, you will develop marketing plans for our Water Parks, including hard ticket events (H2O Glow). You will guide communication planning rooted in consumer insights and drive go-to-market innovation. Your responsibilities include leading strategic inputs and roadmaps, integrated communications planning, website management, event communications, partner management, long-term calendar planning and integration efforts, and other duties as assigned.
Must have:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing strategy and/or account management
  • Ability to think strategically and make decisions based on data analysis, business needs and guest experience
  • Experience leading and driving Roadmaps, ICPs and CRM tactics
  • Experience working with multiple marketing platforms including: CRM, digital media, website, social media, search marketing, print, outdoor and collateral
  • Experience building positive inter-departmental relationships to achieve results and leading partner teams
  • Ability to multi-task and meet quick deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with senior executives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation development

  • Extensive knowledge of the Walt Disney Company and Walt Disney World
  • Video production knowledge
  • MBA, or Master’s or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Job Summary:

As a Cast Member, you are the steward and connection to our legacy and the backbone of our thriving organization. Join our team and watch your dreams come true! The Marketing Strategy team drives consumer demand (revenue, attendance, occupancy) for the Walt Disney World Resort. The team achieves these goals by developing business and communication strategies and partnering with cross-discipline teams to create campaigns that drive consumer behavior. The team also coordinates the management of plans to ensure each campaign or program is enhanced across a range of marketing tactics.

As a Marketing Strategy Manager, you will develop marketing plans for our Water Parks, including hard ticket events (H2O Glow). You will guide communication planning rooted in consumer insights and drive go-to-market innovation. Your responsibilities include leading strategic inputs and roadmaps, integrated communications planning, website management, event communications, partner management, long-term calendar planning and integration efforts, and other duties as assigned.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Establish close partnerships with Water Parks General Manager and direct reports, plus local teams (e.g., Consumer Insights, Finance, Public Relations, and Yellow Shoes)
  • Use consumer insights to provide creative and strategic input to partners across the Marketing & Sales organization
  • Get results by developing product positioning and go-to-market campaigns that incorporate strategic planning, prior performance analytics, and creativity with a lens of Central Florida marketplace dynamics
  • Establish an understanding of the competitive landscape, as well as audience motivators and barriers, to contribute to key message priorities and future product development
  • Evaluate marketing performance and demonstrate agility to optimize when needed due to evolving environment
  • Champion development of integrated marketing communication plans and cross-discipline go-to-market strategies
  • Provide creative feedback to ensure tactics are delivered on strategy
  • Maintain Water Parks brand health through on-going management of consumer-facing content, including integration in broad Walt Disney World materials
  • Manage budget through AOP planning inputs and monthly forecast updates

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing strategy and/or account management

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Preferred Education:

  • MBA, or Master’s or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field
