Responsibilities include managing project schedules, tracking milestones, collaborating with stakeholders, and identifying/mitigating risks. You will lead and manage the day-to-day production of first-party projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. You'll also define, track, and manage project scope, timelines, and milestones, adapting to changes and risks.

What we are looking for:

 

We are looking for a skilled First Party Producer to join us. As a First-Party Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality experiences on first-party platforms (e.g., PlayStation, Xbox, etc.). You will act as the primary liaison between the development team and first-party platform holders, ensuring that projects meet all necessary requirements while aligning with the vision and goals of the stakeholders.

What we will do together:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day production of first-party projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Define, track, and manage project scope, timelines, and milestones, adapting to changes and risks as they arise.
  • Oversee and manage project schedules, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met while maintaining quality.
  • Create, iterate, and track schedules and processes for game features and assets.
  • Act as the main point of contact between internal development teams and external first-party platform holders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the project to ensure alignment across all departments.
  • Organize and facilitate rituals with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues that may impact project timelines, quality, or budget, and implement solutions to mitigate those risks.

What you will bring:

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in game production, software development, or relevant industry experience with a strong understanding of the first-party platform ecosystem (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, etc.).
  • Project Management Skills: Proven track record of managing and leading projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and milestone tracking, with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both internal and external, including game developers, designers, and engineers.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders, including first-party platform representatives, publishers, and development teams.

 

Technical Knowledge:

  • Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with the technical specifications, certification processes, and submission requirements of first-party consoles (e.g., PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo).
  • Game Development Lifecycle: A solid understanding of the game development process from concept to post-launch, including design, testing, QA, and distribution.
  • Tools & Software: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello), version control systems (e.g., Git), and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
