We are looking for a Producer responsible for managing the QA team and their roadmaps and planning small- to mid-scale projects or areas within large-scale projects. Ensure the project and the QA team progress efficiently, meet deadlines, and achieve established goals.
What we’re looking for
- Certification or demonstrable studies in Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices in video game development.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Understanding of quality control principles and their application in video game production.
- Knowledge of the video game development lifecycle, including pre-production, launch, and post-production, foducsing on QA processes.
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results, identify trends, and propose solutions to improve game quality.
- Experience in defining test strategies and ensuring compliance with platform-specific requirements (e.g., PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, PC, Mobile).
- Strong proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and tracking/scheduling tools.
- English B2.
- Ability to present reports and updates clearly and effectively to superiors and teams.
- Capacity to negotiate and make decisions that balance project quality, deadlines, and team efficiency.
- General understanding of strategic planning to enhance QA effectiveness in development pipelines.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the video game industry, including trends, emerging QA technologies, and best practices.
- Understanding of licensing, compliance, and relevant regulations related to QA in the video game industry.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining clarity and focus.
Responsibilities
- Create & maintain production schedules and calendars based on delivery dates and keep stakeholders appraised of production deadlines & milestones.
- Support team by removing roadblocks and managing distractions.
- Direct all team rituals and facilitate needed communication.
- Communicate team staffing needs as they arise.
- Drive the delivery of the team's feature work and estimations.
- Ensure the team's work matches overall project priorities and goals.
- Record meeting summaries as needed and translate them into a coherent, organized list of action items and next steps for the team.
- Test the game in different stages of development to ensure quality and incorporate player feedback.
- Identify, propose, and implement areas for improvement in workflows, processes, and communication and propose solutions to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Work closely with other leaders and teams to ensure the effective integration of all aspects of the game.
- Identify potential risks for the project and work on preventive or mitigating solutions to minimize negative impacts.
- Guide all team members, fostering their professional development.
