What You Can Expect

As an engineer in the Product Engineering organization at Marvell, you will be part of a brilliant team of engineers that solves complex problems. In this role, you could be working with our design, product & test development team in US; supporting new product introduction projects & activities to ensure smooth transition of these new products from development to manufacturing phase, or you could be working with the product team & responsible for imagining, building, deploying and running one or more of our products for mass production. You will setup the test program, hardware and test out the devices on one of the most advanced industrial test systems across our test locations in Asia. When devices or test issues are uncovered, you will perform fail analysis, debugging (software/hardware) and work closely with the various engineering & development groups to resolve the observed issues. Beside resolving devices testing issues, you will also undertake projects for cost reduction & continuous improvement.

  • Perform new device characterization, circuit sensitivity analysis, interpret findings & support root-cause investigations.
  • Perform data mining and statistical data analysis on wafer sort and final test parametric to support initial product assessment.
  • Perform functional testing and analysis to ensure product operation and reliability.
  • Plan and coordinate (data analysis, debug, root-cause, implementing solutions) yield & test time improvement activities to meet the set mass production release goals.
  • Support & resolve Test engineering & program related issues.
  • Setup & transfer new product & technology to test locations in Asia for mass production.
  • Support & resolve Product engineering & device testing related issues.
  • Maintain and enhance product test yield & quality of devices in final test, system level test as well as wafer & bump sort.
  • Perform cost reduction activities e.g., product yield improvement, test insertion elimination, test time reduction, multiple test site enhancement & wafer sort implementation.
  • Continuous improvement for product quality, test efficiency, production throughput & test hardware improvement.
  • Explore opportunity on using Marvell enterprise generative AI to improve work efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidate MUST be currently pursuing a BS/MS (preferred) degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related technical field(s)
  • 0-1 years of previous experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Hands-on knowledge on scripting languages such as VBA, Perl or Python
  • Good Knowledge of C, C++ programing language are a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and failure debugging skills
  • High attention to detail while working under pressure
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
