Job Description

The Product Technology Manager at Google's gAPT team will be responsible for understanding and solving business problems. This role involves building product architectures and solution roadmaps, designing supporting infrastructure, and creating launch programs with partners. Responsibilities also include conducting implementation reviews, promoting new features, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring data accessibility for analytical teams. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of product/program management experience and 2+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java, C++, Python) and web application development. A strong understanding of business needs and the ability to translate them into technical solutions are crucial.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3+ years product/program management
2+ years OOP experience (Java, C++, Python)
Web application development experience
Technical solutions for business problems
Build product architectures and roadmaps

Good to have:

HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, Typescript
Unit testing, agile development
Bug and change management systems

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in the product management or program management.
2 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python), developing web applications.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with one or more of the following: HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, Typescript.
Experience with unit testing, agile project development, and bug and change management systems.
Ability to adapt and work in a fluid environment along with ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
Ability to provide technical solutions to business problems.

Responsibilities

Understand business problems and solve those problems.
Build and work on product architectures and solution road maps, including the design of infrastructure necessary to support the business objectives of our stakeholders.
Create launch programs with partners to ensure that new products and feature releases are tested before deployment.
Perform implementation reviews, promote new product features and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
Ensure that technical solutions are designed in a way that enable other Analytical teams to access data for operational reporting and data visualization.
