Job Description

As a Program Manager, Regulatory Audits at Google, you will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and facilitating a portfolio of regulatory programs. You will manage end-to-end, the design of compliance program(s) via cross-functional collaboration with product and legal stakeholders. You will also lead a portfolio of regulatory audits conducted by third-party external auditors or regulators for Alphabet including technical audits involving Application Security Testing, Code reviews, Information Security controls reviews. This role requires a strong understanding of regulations and the ability to communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company.

Must have:

8 years of project or program management experience
Experience with regulatory audit and compliance projects
Experience in driving the development of best practices
Experience working on information security compliance programs and audits

Good to have:

Experience with designing and operationalizing regulatory compliance programs for new and emerging regulations.

Minimum qualifications:

8 years of project or program management experience.
Experience with regulatory audit and compliance projects.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in driving the development of best practices, including the development of policies, processes, and training.
Experience working on information security compliance programs and audits, particularly audits involving technical code reviews, application security testing.
Experience with designing and operationalizing regulatory compliance programs for new and emerging regulations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, manage, and facilitate a portfolio of regulatory programs. Manage end-to-end, the design of compliance program(s) via cross-functional collaboration with product and legal stakeholders.
Understand regulations to advice on the design of compliance strategy, conduct current state assessments, analyze capabilities for target state solution, develop relevant compliance artifacts (e.g., Risk and control matrix, policies, etc.).
Lead a portfolio of regulatory audits conducted by third-party external auditors or regulators for Alphabet including technical audits involving Application Security Testing, Code reviews, Information Security controls reviews. Own the end-to-end lifecycle including development of governance and processes.
Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company regarding the status of new and emerging regulations.
Ensure end-to-end Program Management aspects are built and maintained for the portfolio of regulatory obligations.
