ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a R&D Solution Architect to oversee a portfolio of projects in R&D space across different Virtuos studios. This is an ambitious role with considerable technical challenges.

We are seeking a candidate with technical background, innovative mind & excellent communication skills ideally from game AAA or AI/large tech environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Ensure architectural & technical guidance in areas of software engineering across multiple studios and disciplines

Provide technical leadership to all teams involved in overseen projects, bringing best practices and proactively highlighting inefficiencies

Be a key leader/contributor to the development team and responsible for identifying and resolving issues across studios

Develop trust and secure buy-in from multiple teams from the development team and the internal/external partners

Oversee milestone deliverables in coordination with team leads and management, across multiple locations.

Ensuring Security By Design approach in all solutions and applications

Continuously assess technical risk and challenge status quo

Ensure excellent communication, positive working relationships and teamwork across all studios within the development team and across disciplines.

Track advancement of technology relevant to R&D projects, propose long-term innovation

Qualifications

In-depth understanding of current trends & solutions in on-premise, hybrid, cloud development relevant to AI (ML/DL) & game dev. AWS Experience and AWS Solution Architecture Professional Certificate is a plus
