Job Description

The Regional SOC Manager at Google's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in Singapore leads regional operations, providing technical and operational guidance. This role involves leading the GSOC during crises and incident responses, coordinating with other GSRS teams, and managing a diverse team, including shift staff. Responsibilities include developing and supporting GSOC processes and procedures, managing support requests, and collaborating with cross-functional colleagues. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in law enforcement, intelligence, or a similar field, along with experience managing remote teams in multiple countries and cultures. Proficiency with security technologies, including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems, is crucial.

Must have:

15+ years experience in relevant field
SOC experience
Lead regional GSOC operations
Manage diverse teams
Develop & support GSOC processes
Incident response expertise

Good to have:

Global operational experience
Experience with security technologies (CCTV, Access Control)
Excellent problem-solving & communication skills
Project leadership skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence, a military role, or similar private sector role.
Experience working in a Security Operations Center.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience managing remote teams, with global operational experience in multiple countries and cultures.
Experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems.
Experience managing security operations and security personnel, and delivering high quality, customer-oriented security programs.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a complex, international environment, with excellent people management and leadership skills.
Ability to lead projects by navigating priorities, measurable objectives, dependencies, planning, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, implementation, and subsequent monitoring.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to take initiative while building cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead regional Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) operations by providing technical, and operational guidance. Lead GSOC operations during crisis and incident response and coordinate with other parts of Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) and the GSOC ecosystem.
Lead GSOC Regional Leadership team and have knowledge to respond to any global event in support of other GSOC leaders.
Lead a team of diverse employees and extended workforce including shift staff. Analyze, develop, and support GSOC processes and procedures, and drive development and integration across the GSOC ecosystem.
Empower the team to utilize the resources and knowledge necessary to manage incidents and escalations.
Manage GSOC support requests and field requests from stakeholders. Communicate and collaborate with leadership and cross-functional colleagues, both inside and outside of GSRS.
