Job Description

This role involves designing, developing, and supporting complex enterprise solutions for a large US-based retail company. Responsibilities include defining and building data sources, data mappings, and integration points; conducting code reviews; implementing new features and bug fixes; refactoring code; maintaining and improving testing (unit, integration, acceptance, E2E); building and shipping product artifacts; and participating in DevOps activities. The position requires 12h/7d on-call support (bi-weekly). The team utilizes a modern technology stack, focusing on vendor compliance systems and working closely with warehouse operations. This is a remote position located in Ukraine, requiring strong Java full-stack skills, including experience with SpringBoot, Microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Must have:

Java full-stack (SpringBoot, Microservices)
REST APIs, Kafka, JUnit, Mockito
Gradle, CI/CD (GitLab), Kubernetes
AWS (RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda)
MSA patterns, On-call support

Good to have:

Docker, NewRelic, Splunk

Project description

One of the largest retail worldwide company that located in USA needs a professional, effective and result-oriented team to design, develop and support complex enterprise solutions. This solutions include logistic applications used various supply chain methodologies.
You will have a great chance to join the project during its evolving stage.
Team develops and supports vendor compliance systems, using the modern stack of technologies, works closely with warehouse operations teams to provide the high-quality solution. For the leading fashion retailer who is offering compelling clothing, shoes, and accessories for men, women, and kids.

Responsibilities

NOTE: this vacancy assumes 12h/7d on-call support (once per 2 weeks)

Design and collaborate with local and partner teams

Define and build data sources, data mappings, and integration points across multiple services

MR review for other team members

Suggest enhancements

implement new features

provide bugfixes into existing features

refactor existing code

maintain and improve different levels of testing (Unit/Integration/Acceptance/E2E)

build and ship product artifacts to dev/prod cluster

DevOps responsibilities & knowledge of DevOps tools
