Job Description
Enphase Energy is seeking a dynamic Associate Engineer to handle engineering services activities. This role involves close collaboration with Cloud development, Product Management, and Customer service teams to investigate and resolve issues with software and cloud devices. The ideal candidate will possess debugging skills for software and devices, with exposure to software development. Responsibilities include incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis of critical issues, driving bridge calls with cross-functional teams, automation, process improvement, and handling service requests under stringent SLAs. The role also entails independently managing production support for cloud software and managing firmware upgrades to the field.
Must have:
- BE/BTech in Computer Science or related discipline
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Strong Linux/Unix skills
- Strong scripting skills (Ruby, Shell, Python)
- Strong DB queries (PL/SQL)
- Strong Data Analytics tool knowledge (Incorta, Quicksight)
- Strong AWS cloud technologies understanding
- Good understanding of Java, Ruby on Rails
- Ability to work under stringent SLAs
- Good knowledge of SW development Life Cycle
- Clear and concise communication skills
Good to have:
- Experience with GIT/BitBucket, Jira, Confluence
- Ability to work positively with diverse individuals
- Ability to find innovative problem-solving solutions

About the role:
Enphase is looking for a dynamic Associate Engineer for handling engineering services activities. This will involve closely working with Cloud development team, Product Management team and Customer service teams to investigate and resolve issues related to various software and cloud devices. The ideal candidate will have skills for debugging of software and devices, with exposure to software development.
What you will do:
- Incident Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis of critical issues
- Driving bridge call for critical incidents by working with cross functional teams across the organisation and take it to closure
- Automation and process improvement
- Handling Service requests from cross functional teams under stringent SLAs to meet commitments
- Independently handle the production support of multiple cloud software
- Firmware upgrades to the field : Build, maintain scalable upgrade infrastructure, FW upgrades to the field
Who you are and what you bring:
- BE /BTech in Computer Science or related discipline from Top Tier Engineering College.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in highly technical product company
- incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, driving bridge call.
- Strong in Linux/Unix Operating system
- Strong scripting skills (Ruby,Shell scripts,Python )
- Strong DB queries skill (PL/SQL) in anyone of DBs (MySQl, SQL or Oracle)
- Strong in Data Analytics tool (Incorta, Quicksight)
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud technologies
- Good understanding of programming language (Java, Ruby on Rails)
- Ability to work under stringent SLAs to meet commitments
- Good knowledge of SW development Life Cycle, experience with GIT/BitBucket, Jira, Confluence,
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner across teams in the organisation
- Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved with in the activities
- Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems, conflicts.
