About the role

We are looking for a Staff Analyst to join our Sales Operations team. The role will be based in our Bangalore, India office, reporting to the Manager, Sales Operations. This position will be responsible for revenue attainment of the whole organization, collaborating with Sales/Sales Ops and Supply Chain to incorporate any risks & opportunities to demand/supply that may affect the revenue target for the company. The role will be highly visible to the senior management and will involve weekly presentation to CXO team.

The ideal candidate needs to be highly analytical with a strong background and understanding in data analysis and business targets attainments. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience in revenue management and BI automation is a must.

What you will do

  • Work with Sales regions in collaboration with the Sales GMs of that region to maximize revenue generation and attain corporate targets for revenue and gross margin.
  • Manage revenue growth strategy and execution, reporting and data analysis for the company and drive consensus across multiple stakeholders on revenue targets.
  • Identify risks to revenue attainment including demand, product transitions, supply constraints, and logistics.
  • Understand demand and supply metrics to access risks to the sales plan and propose necessary strategy changes to the management to achieve the corporate goals.
  • Deliver weekly presentations to executive staff (CXO team) to report business performance, sales trends, and business-related challenges.
  • Provide the regional sales operations teams with the required analysis and data to align customer backlog with the revenue targets of the region.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, supply planning, pricing, logistics, and PLM teams to facilitate achievement of quarterly revenue targets.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Who you are and what you bring

  • B.Tech/Master’s required with knowledge of sales operations, supply chain, and business analytics experience, preferably in complex Solar or High-Tech industry multi-tiered channel environment.
  • You appreciate a good spreadsheet, are comfortable with big data sets and are meticulous in your metrics. You have a track record of driving actionable insights that result in measurable growth.
  • Advanced skills with MS Excel and data manipulation are a must. QlikView, Tableau, Incorta, SQL, and SFDC experience preferred.
  • Very process-focused with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and sound business judgment - comfortable with data-driven insight seeking and decision-making.
  • Organized with strong work ethic, detailed, and metrics driven approach.
  • Ability to work productively and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with exposure to e-staff.
  • Adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals.
  • Bachelors BTECH/Master’s from Tier-1 colleges (CGPA – 7+/70%) with about 7-10 yrs of experience.
