What you will be doing
• Global Distribution Management: Oversee the efficient operation of our European Distribution Centers (DCs) to ensure timely order processing and that customer shipping windows are met.
• End-to-End Fulfillment Oversight: Monitor the entire fulfillment process and lead critical activities related to customer shipments, ensuring everything runs on time.
• Oracle WMS Expertise: Utilize Oracle’s WMS system to optimize warehouse operations to increase capacity, quality, and optimize cost.
• Routing Guide Management: Ensure routing guides are followed and stay up to date with any changes in shipping rules or product-related issues, ensuring compliance through continuous follow-up.
• Customer Support & Issue Resolution: Manage carrier claims for lost and damaged freight and drive resolution and process improvements.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with finance to resolve invoicing issues and support timely quarter-end processes. Collaborate with the Supply Planner to meet demand forecasts.
• Sales Operations Support: Work closely with Sales Operations to manage backlog changes, shipping schedules, credit holds, and DC capacity limits, ensuring seamless order management.
• Customer-Facing Support: Act as the main point of contact for order and shipment issues, handling urgent requests with our partners and freight providers.
• Process Improvement Leadership: Proactively identify and lead initiatives to enhance operational processes using Lean tools.
• Productivity Planning: Develop and implement productivity plans by analyzing work forecasts, balancing labor requirements, and collaborating with other DC Operations Managers.
• Performance Analysis: Evaluate inbound and outbound productivity metrics to meet customer expectations for timeliness, accuracy, and quality.
• Logistics Knowledge: Demonstrate strong understanding of 2020 Incoterms and basic EU/EMEA customs protocols, including VAT structure and compliance.
• System Implementation: Setup, test, and implement various order management and fulfillment processes to drive operational success.
• Customer Contract Management: Participate in customer reviews and provide subject matter expertise to sales, legal, and finance teams for related European import/exports and trade compliance.
• WEEE Compliance – Enphase program lead for WEEE compliance
Who you are and what you bring
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in fulfillment, planning, and transportation management.
• Expertise in ERP systems, with Oracle-Fusion experience being a strong plus.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential for data analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional organization and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• International logistics experience is a plus, with familiarity in global planning a major advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex operational challenges.
• Self-motivated and independent, capable of thriving with minimal supervision.
