Description:

This person will be responsible for IT Release Management, Change Management & IT Communications during Major Incidents.

Responsibilities

Uses agile methodologies to plan, coordinate, and lead deployments of major releases, weekly patches, and daily changes .

Optimizes and improves processes and methodology and reviews with different stakeholders and impacted parties to make sure they are onboard with changes and implements those changes.

Reviews test, deployment, and support plans to ensure completeness and appropriate level of detail. Ensures plans are communicated to stakeholders effectively. Leadership of release management teams, critical escalations, and driving issues to closure Release Management .

Defines the annual release schedule and single global release plan that includes all projects aligned to specific releases

  • Responsible for all aspects of release management and execution, providing leadership and guidance to the release management and stakeholder teams. Conducts Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews. Leads and coordinates Go-Live activities, including execution of deployment plans and checklists. Proactively develops and maintains a strong knowledge of the systems related to Release Engineering and makes recommendations to improve the reliability, scalability, performance, or security of these systems as appropriate.
