Key Responsibilities

Channel Design: Hands-on experience designing channels using Roku, including an understanding of key UI and design principles, and handling remote-control buttons.

Custom UI Controls: Extensive experience creating custom UI controls for Roku apps, integrating high-performing APIs, managing advanced states, supporting cross-device functionality, and optimizing performance.

SceneGraph and XML: Complete knowledge of SceneGraph components, XML configuration, handling application events, event loops, threads, and controlling screen layouts.

Skills Required

Roku Development: Proven experience in developing video streaming apps for Roku.

UI and Design Principles: Strong understanding of key UI and design principles for Roku channels.

API Integrations: Expertise in integrating high-performing APIs with Roku apps.

Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize performance across various devices.

SceneGraph and XML: In-depth knowledge of SceneGraph components, XML configuration, and application event handling.

State Management: Advanced state management skills in Roku app development.

Cross-Device Support: Experience in developing apps that support multiple devices.
