Paytm is seeking a Sales Team Lead for its Transit division in Chennai. The role involves developing and executing sales plans and strategies to achieve company goals, fostering a culture of success, and managing sales teams, operations, and resources. Key responsibilities include defining optimal sales force structures, coordinating sales training, managing customer expectations for high satisfaction, and refining sales processes. The position requires 3+ years of experience in distribution sales within fintech, banking, or EDC sales. The candidate will be responsible for educating merchants on the benefits of swipe machines (EDC), converting them, and managing their accounts. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to aggressively manage sales strategy execution and work both independently and collaboratively.
Must Have
- 3+ years of distribution sales experience in fintech, banking/sales, or EDC sales.
- Educate merchants on swipe machine benefits.
- Convert merchants and manage their accounts.
