Role Summary
As a Senior Visual Designer at Brillio, you will play a critical role in shaping memorable user experiences by crafting high-quality visual designs that align with project objectives and user needs. You will be responsible for developing and refining visual design systems, ensuring consistency across design elements, and presenting design concepts in a user-centered narrative. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior designers, and may assume leadership responsibilities within the design team.
While your core expertise lies in visual design, you’ll also integrate knowledge from other design disciplines such as UX, research, strategy, and content, ensuring a holistic approach to design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Responsibilities:
Collaborative Design: Work with multidisciplinary teams, including UX designers, researchers, developers, and project managers, to create compelling digital user experiences.
Concept Development: Develop and refine visual design concepts using design elements like typography, color, layout, and imagery to deliver user-centered, high-quality experiences.
Design Systems: Create, maintain, and organize functional component systems for user interfaces that ensure consistency and efficiency across digital platforms.
Client Presentation: Present design work to clients with a clear narrative, guiding them through how design decisions enhance the overall user experience.
Brand Alignment: Ensure all visual designs are aligned with client brand standards and project objectives, refining concepts to meet user and business needs.
Leadership & Mentorship:
Team Guidance: Mentor junior designers on design best practices, including visual hierarchy, consistency, and project priorities.
Task Delegation: Delegate tasks effectively within the design team and support junior members in managing their workload.
Studio Leadership: Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance communication, leadership, and mentorship skills.
Management: For some Senior Designers, take on formal management responsibilities, including setting goals, offering career coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
