Job Summary
Job Description
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java + TypeScript), you will be responsible for maintaining existing services (bug fixes, security updates, improvements in Java, Scala, and TypeScript), building new APIs and web applications (Java + TypeScript/React), migrating legacy services to new technologies (Java + TypeScript/React), creating and managing online ads for private users (Web), managing appointment systems between sellers and buyers (Web), and running user profile services to store and manage user data. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot and proficiency in TypeScript/React.
Must have:
- Proficiency with Java/Spring Boot (4+ years)
- Proficiency with TypeScript/React
- API and web application building
Good to have:
- Experience with AWS (RDS, Lambda, CloudFront)
- Docker/containers
- Observability tools (e.g., Datadog)

We are looking for Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java+ Typescript) to join our team.
About the client:
Our customer is the European online car market, with over 30 million monthly users and a presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of existing services (e.g., bug fixes, security updates, improvements in Java, Scala, and TypeScript)
- Building new APIs and web applications (Java + TypeScript/ React)
- Migrating legacy services to new technologies (Java + TypeScript/ React)
- Creating and managing online ads for private users (Web)
- Managing appointment systems between sellers and buyers (Web)
- Running user profile services to store and manage user data
Requirements:
- Must-Have:
- Proficiency with Java/Spring Boot for building APIs and web applications - 4 or 5 years of experience
- Proficiency with TypeScript/React for web application development
- Should Have:
- Experience with hosting in Cloud (preferred AWS)
- Docker/containers
- AWS RDS/SQL DB
- AWS Lambda
- AWS CloudFront
Nice to have:
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog
