We are looking to add a passionate and dedicated Senior PHP Developer to our team in Yerevan!
What You'll get to do:

Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain PHP applications using modern frameworks (e.g., Slim, Laravel, Symfony) as well as pure/native PHP, ensuring high performance, scalability, and responsiveness.

Microservices Architecture: Architect and implement microservices-based solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design RESTful APIs that enable seamless communication between services.

Database Design & Management: Develop efficient MySQL database schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity and performance through proper indexing, migrations, and refactoring.

REST API Development: Design and implement secure, scalable REST APIs to support frontend applications. Ensure APIs follow industry best practices, including documentation, authentication mechanisms, and proper error handling to enhance security and maintainability.

Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Follow software development best practices and enforce coding standards through code reviews.

System Integration & Testing: Integrate third-party services and tools as needed. Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and contribute to automated testing processes.

Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions on time. Participate in agile planning sessions and provide technical input to drive the overall product strategy.
What You need to shine:
- 7+ years of experience in PHP application development, with a strong background in modern PHP frameworks such as Slim, Laravel, Symfony, as well as experience with pure/native PHP development.

Object-Oriented Programming: Strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming and best practices in software design and architecture.

Microservices & REST APIs: Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.

Database Skills: Solid knowledge of MySQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Message Queues & Pub-Sub Systems: Experience with queueing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Redis Queue) and pub-sub architectures (e.g., Kafka) for handling high-load, distributed applications efficiently. Ability to design and optimize asynchronous processing workflows to ensure system scalability and reliability.

Frontend Integration: Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) is a plus for better API integration.

Version Control & CI/CD: Proficient with Git and experience working in an agile environment with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Design Patterns & Best Practices: Good understanding of design patterns and best practices in software architecture to build scalable, maintainable, and testable code.

English working proficiency – Strong verbal and written communication skills.
