We’re looking for an experienced product manager, who has a knack for economy and IAP optimizations, and a successful case to show for it. You’ll be working on the world’s most downloaded game; the cult hit Subway Surfers. You’ll work closely with a team of Product Managers and Designers, and improve and optimize our economy and IAP options to ensure that our millions of fans have the best possible experience, while maximizing business impact.
Most importantly you ‘think games’, and have a talent for exploring and understanding what makes a great F2P game and how both business and fans get the most value out of the game for years to come.
Own our strategy for improving and optimizing the economy on Subway Surfers with a focus on maximizing both player engagement and business revenue over the coming years
Guide and drive the economic aspects of our live operations and special events, ensuring they are always designed to support our economy strategy
Manage the pricing model of all in-game currencies, goods and content - both free and paid, while defining key segmentation layers to support LTV growth
Continuously explore ways of growing Subway Surfer’s IAP revenue to further optimize our balance of ad and IAP revenue streams
Investigate and test different economy models for different segments of players
Leverage analytics to gain insights into game economy and players behaviours on Subway Surfers - and other games - guiding continuous adjustments that boosts retention and improve player experience and monetization
Collaborate with our Player Experience team to get constant feedback from our players, further using these insights to help guide our economy decisions
In your first month - You’ll get a clear understanding of the game vision and learn how the team works together to realize it. You will get to know and start building relationships with the team and the central analytics team, as well as develop an understanding of our other products and analytics infrastructure.
In your first 3 months - You’ll be fully operational, working on our backlog and prioritization and contributing to the design and balancing of some features. You’ll be the voice of data and quantitative insights on the team from an economic point of view, helping everyone understand our game economy. You’ll collaborate closely with the analytics team and perform small analyses yourself.
In your first 12 months - You’ll set us on a path to success by tracking important KPIs, formulating hypotheses, and performing experiments. You’ve contributed to the roadmap and have set us on a path for greater success by providing a solid and stable strategy for the economy and IAP’s in the years to come.
Successful experience working on game economy - either as a Product Manager or as a Senior Game Designer wanting to move into Product
Product ownership mentality and an eager mentality to deep-dive into improving, and making an impact on, the worlds most downloaded game
Great analytical skills and solid experience in modeling player behaviors
Prior experience working on a LiveOps title collaborating with both Product & Design
Passion for games! You are motivated by understanding player motivations and continuously building a world class game that fits in current market dynamics
