Senior Product Manager, Real World Journeys Search Quality

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere. To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on. In joining the Search team, you'll have an opportunity to make an impact on billions of people globally. Responsibilities: Understand user values that Search Quality can offer. Apply careful analysis and understanding to identify solutions to user needs and set the roadmap for Real World Journey experiences on Search results. Define and shape product direction, partnering closely with Real World Journeys Quality leads. Understand the levers to employ in ML models, ranking, and metrics to measure and achieve goals. Understand ranking and metrics to navigate the team through complex decisions and trade offs needed to land significant positive user impact. Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams across organizations to make sure any ranking changes are safe, well understood by our users, consistent across Search and deliver relevant results that they can trust. Communicate product strategy and technical details to search executives and non-technical audiences.
