Responsibilities

Guide and coach 1 or more SCRUM teams on how to use Agile practices and principles.

Lead and facilitate all SCRUM ceremonies. Using dynamic and creative ways to preserve people's engagement during virtual meetings.

Proactively resolves team impediments, identify any risk and develops an action plan.

Coaches the team in self-organization and cross-functional skillset.

Manage the full development life-cycle of a team in distributed environment

Get teams to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement; applying appropriate group development techniques.

Communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the project team.

Partner with the product, developers and engineering lead(s) to ensure the teams roadmap and backlog priorities are maintained to enable a smooth agile development process and minimize blockers

Meet frequently with product, engineering and business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of their business processes and needs

Manage changes with product manager(s) and engineering leads

Monitor the teams development velocity and facilitate the resolution of risks and blockers

Collaborate with product manager(s), developers and engineering teams to ensure epics and user stories are clearly defined and properly phased to facilitate timely delivery of functionality

Lead communication and solution delivery with cross-functional operating teams

Communicate status, risks with resolution plan, upcoming milestones, and recent releases to leadership teams

Manage resolution of urgent engineering issues while communicating changes to business stakeholders

Work with the engineering and product leadership teams to ensure they are fully engaged in strategic and tactical planning decisions.

Skills

Must have

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Project coordination or management experience, preferably in an IT setting.

Experience in Computer and/or Email/M365 Migrations.

Experience and working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, OneNote, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Project Management tracking software.

5+ years of experience leading development teams.

3+ years of experience as SCRUM Master

Certification from recognized Agile organization, any methodology is welcomed (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe, Less, Lean, PMI-ACP)

Outstanding communication skills.

Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization.

Use of different digital platforms to facilitate meetings

Goal-oriented and a strong sense of autonomy.

An excellent attitude, with a flexible mindset.

A creative and innovative approach to solving issues and challenges.

Proficiency in the use of Atlassian collaboration tools (other collaboration tools are welcomed).

Is able to work with Agile coaches and other SCRUM Masters to grow within the role. Identifies when there is a gap and immediately ask for help.

Nice to have

Able to use SQL is a plus.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Certified as Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
