Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture and module design. You will need to have strong experience in C/C++ programming on embedded software, with a focus on object-oriented program development. You will also be expected to be proficient in OOAD, Algorithm, Data Structure, multi-threading concurrent and real-time software development. Familiarity with RTOS such as Realtime Linux and software functional safety design is a must. Understanding of large-scale software risk analysis, testing, issue tracking, bug fixing, and reliability improvement is required. Strong communication skills in English and Chinese are also needed, along with experience in Agile development methodology. You'll be working with a cross-functional organization.
Must have:
  • Strong C/C++ programming experience.
  • Proficient in OOAD, Algorithm, and Data Structure.
  • Familiar with RTOS like Realtime Linux.
  • Understand software functional safety design.
  • Experience in Agile development methodology.
Good to have:
  • Background in CT and other medical device software development.

Education

Bachelor degree in Computer science/Engineering or above

Experience

6-10 years of professional software engineering experience in a product development environment. Able to independently accomplish the architecture and module design.

Competency and Skills (Technical/Functional Skills)

  • Object oriented program development experience. Strong C/C++ programming experience on embedded software.
    •  Proficient in OOAD, Algorithm, Data Structure, multi-threading concurrent and real time software development;
    • Familiar with RTOS such Realtime Linux;
    • Familiar with software functional safety design;
    • Familiar with at least one of the source code version control system and code review system;
    • Understand large scale software risk analysis, testing, issue tracking, bug fixing and reliability improvement;
    • Understand the CAN/EtherCAT bus communication system and apply it to actual projects
  • Structured problem analysis and solving
  • Must be open-minded to assure best design is chosen
  • Experienced in Agile development methodology
  • Understanding of IEC62304, and related documentation
  • Familiar with the foundation and approach of software engineering, familiar with the concept and approach of hierarchical software architecture design
  • Ability to work within a cross functional organization with good communication skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills while communicating in both English and Chinese
  • Strong time management skill
  • With CT and other medical device software development background is preferred.



How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
