Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 8 years of experience in network architecture and design, including network connectivity principles.
- 8 years of experience in designing, building, and operating distributed systems.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience in C++ for network systems development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.

The Hybrid Connectivity team's goal is to meet and enable customers global application deployment in multi-cloud and off-cloud environments. The team strives to make GCP scalable cloud to reach and remove connectivity as a scaling impediment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams building available and reliable network infrastructure services that scale enterprise customers operating on a public cloud.
- Collaborate with engineering managers, software engineers, and product managers in the Cloud Networking organization.
- Drive software best practices and architectural considerations on a project-wide level.
- Work with management to mentor and grow all members of the team.
