The Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT in Walt Disney World is seeking Food & Beverage Servers. This role requires authentic representation of Moroccan culture, heritage, and traditions. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders (using a POS system), handling payments, ensuring food safety standards, managing multiple tables, resolving guest issues, upholding location theming, demonstrating wine and cocktail knowledge, and working with various food allergens. The ideal candidate will have one year of full-service experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position requires heavy lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Part-time positions require availability for a minimum of three days a week, including nights and holidays. Full-time positions require full availability.

Job Summary:

We are looking for Food & Beverage Servers for the Morocco Pavilion in World Showcase at EPCOT! Candidates must be able to authentically represent Morocco in culture, heritage, traditions, and language.

Servers at the Walt Disney World® Resort maintain a positive and inviting atmosphere, while ensuring a world-class dining experience at various restaurant locations throughout our Theme Parks and Resorts! This fast-paced, high Guest impact role services multiple styles of dining, from cocktailing, to table service, to signature, and is vital to operating a successful restaurant.

This role requires high Guest engagement, problem solving, and critical thinking, all of which are imperative to your success.

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $9.98 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • We greet Guests, provide assistance and information, explain restaurant promotions, upsell and record menu orders and input orders into the point-of-sale computer system, while handling cash and other forms of payment
  • We follow all food safety regulatory requirements and company standards
  • We balance serving multiple tables simultaneously throughout a shift, leading our Server stations and resolving Guest situations
  • We uphold location theming by maintaining a role in the show, while providing excellent Guest Service and demonstrating general wine and cocktail knowledge
  • We demonstrate strong memorization and mathematical skills
  • We work with and around all foods and food allergens, including but not limited to beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg and dairy products
  • We work in all types of locations including lounge, club, or pool areas (Cocktail Server roles will be outside)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • MUST be able to demonstrate Cultural Authenticity pertaining to Morocco
  • One year of full service experience for Food & Beverage Service
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
  • Observational skills to identify Guest needs and ensure safety guidelines are being followed
  • Owning and resolving Guest issues
  • Partner with team to make adjustments for operational changes
  • Operate mobile devices and other computer systems
  • Passion for connecting with Guest and Cast Members from all lines of business to provide excellent service to our Guests and Cast
  • Physical role including heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, standing & walking for extended periods, climbing, and kneeling
  • Cast Members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Cast Members may have exposure to food and beverage products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual preferred
  • Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred
  • Part-Time requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays

Additional Information:

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
