Job Description
Brillio is a rapidly growing digital technology service provider, partnering with Fortune 1000 companies to leverage digital adoption for competitive advantage. They are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with extensive experience in Data Warehousing and Snowflake. The role involves designing and building data pipelines using Snowpipe, developing stored procedures, and implementing cloud-based data warehouse solutions. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end data integration processes for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, and optimizing Snowflake performance using features like resource monitors, RBAC controls, and query tuning.
Must have:
- 10 years industry experience in Data Warehousing
- Minimum 4 years experience with Snowflake
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools
- Deep understanding of data modeling (star, snowflake)
- Experience designing data pipelines using Snowpipe
- Snow SQL experience for stored procedures and data transformation
- Expertise in Snowflake data modeling and ELT
- Cloud-based Enterprise data warehouse solutions experience
- Ability to update modeling principles and best practices
- Lead development of project requirements for data integration
- Expertise in Snowflake features (resource monitors, RBAC, virtual warehouse, query tuning, zero copy clone, time travel)

Job requirements

- 10 years of industry experience with hands on managing projects in Data Warehousing with a minimum 4 years of experience working on Snowflake
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
- Should have hands on experience with ETL tools.
- Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods, and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modelling).
- Experience in designing and building manual or auto ingestion data pipeline using Snow pipe.
- Snow SQL Experience in developing stored Procedures writing Queries to analyze and transform data.
- Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using snowpipe, implementing stored procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts.
- Should have implement cloud-based Enterprise data warehouse solutions with multiple data platforms along with Snowflake environment to build data movement strategy
- Should be able to make necessary on-going updates to modelling principles, processes, solutions, and best practices to ensure that the Snowflake is aligned with business needs of the environment.
- Should be able to lead in developing project requirements for end-to-end Data integration process using ETL for Structured, semi-structured and Unstructured Data.
- Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse, query performance tuning, zero copy clone, time travel, and understand how to use these features.
