The digital advertising landscape is undergoing a seismic transformation. In the last two years, fundamental shifts in privacy regulations, the evolution of traditional identifiers and the rise of Generative AI are presenting unprecedented opportunities for innovation. For a Senior Software Engineer with ad tech experience this is a chance to be at the epicenter of this change. You'll contribute to the evolution of our monetization software while working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Data Science, and Engineering, to bring innovative solutions to life in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

You Will...

  • Build Ad Tech Systems: Contribute to the development of critical monetization systems, including dynamic ad experiences, ad serving infrastructure, tracking pipelines, and targeting services.
  • Enhance Ad Performance: Develop systems to increase ad viewability, decrease loading times,  and enhance ad targeting accuracy to generate more revenue.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define requirements, technical specs, and product goals.
  • Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold engineering standards.
  • Privacy & Compliance: Help implement ad technology solutions in compliance with privacy regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Contribute to Team Growth: Share your knowledge with peers and participate in team learning initiatives.

You Have...

  • Experience: 3+ years of software engineering experience working on business critical systems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Front End Technical Expertise: Proficiency in developing highly performant front end ecosystems, with a particular focus on page speed and core web vitals. Significant experience in Javascript, Typescript, CSS and associated testing frameworks and tools such as Vite, Webpack, Jest, and Playwright.
  • Back End Technical Expertise: Proficiency in high-performance backend systems, with experience in languages such as Node, Python, Java, PHP or similar, and strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Ad Tech Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, including Google Ad Manager (GAM), Google Publisher Tag (GPT), Prebid and identity solutions. Proficiency in industry standards such as OpenRTB, VAST, and IAB frameworks. Capable of conducting detailed performance analysis and optimizing ad-serving systems to ensure low latency and high throughput.
  • Data Familiarity: Experience working with data pipelines or monitoring tools for performance metrics and reliability.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to independently break down complex problems and deliver maintainable solutions.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams.

Bonus Points...

  • Industry Tools: Experience with ad-serving technologies, consent management systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Grafana, OneTrust, Amplitude).
  • Experimentation and A/B Testing: Background in designing experiments for optimizing yield and user experience.
  • Certification: Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, data analytics, or ad technology are a plus.
