This role will cover our Los Gatos campus as well as our Seattle and Boulder offices. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across the business to ensure that our workplace functions align with Netflix’s rapidly changing business needs and culture.
The Workplace team plays a crucial role in ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly, creating spaces that drive Netflix forward. You’ll need to be proactive, innovative, and ready to roll up your sleeves. Your focus will be on improving the overall workplace experience, while managing resources—financial and people-based—in a way that scales with Netflix’s growth.

The role reports to the Director of Workplace, UCAN, and is based on site in Los Gatos, CA.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Workplace teams across the Los Gatos campus, Seattle, and Boulder offices, providing direction on all workplace services, including building operations, food & beverage, front of house, shipping & receiving, events support, and Environmental Health & Safety.
Oversee financial management, ensuring that we are using Netflix resources efficiently and responsibly, including people costs.
Build and mentor a high-performing team that embraces continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
Proactively engage with VP-level executives and senior leaders across multiple functions to align workplace services with business goals, anticipating needs and driving key initiatives.
Collaborate across Portfolio Management, Program Delivery, and Enterprise Security to deliver a cohesive workplace strategy that supports business priorities.
Drive innovation in the workplace experience, finding new ways to elevate the employee experience while supporting Netflix’s evolving needs.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (Talent, EHS, AV, Ntech Ops, Events, Internal Comms, Security) to ensure we are constantly providing a frictionless, safe & secure workplace and responding to incidents that will occur 24/7.
Understand Netflix’s evolving business needs and effectively share relevant context with your team and functional partners to ensure they deliver their best work.
Requirements:
Proven leadership experience in managing high-performing teams and a crazy focus on excellence.
A senior leader with the ability to influence VP-level executives and drive strategic initiatives.
10+ years of experience in a similar role, including managing large-scale corporate buildings and leading teams across various functions.
An innovative mindset with the ability to drive exceptional workplace services and operational improvements.
Strong experience in vendor management, stakeholder communication, and multi-campus leadership.
Travel up to 25% as needed. Regularly being present and available at the Los Gatos campus, Seattle, and Boulder offices will be critical for this role.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $210,000 - $470,000.
Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
