Job Description

The Senior Product Manager (F2P) at Red Games Co. will be responsible for the strategic direction, roadmap, and performance of top-priority game(s). This role demands a deep understanding of player needs and involves close collaboration with creative and development teams. Key responsibilities include defining the long-term product vision, analyzing player data to inform decisions, developing and managing product roadmaps, collaborating effectively across teams, actively gathering player feedback, conducting A/B testing, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicating effectively with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product management for successful F2P games, preferably in mobile RTS, MOBA, or similar genres, and a proven track record of achieving business goals while prioritizing player experience. Strong analytical, communication, and execution skills are essential.

Job Details

Sr. Product Manager (F2P)

At Red Games Co. the F2P Product Manager will oversee the strategy, roadmap, and overall performance of top priority game(s). The Product Manager must deeply understand the players needs, work in close partnership with creative leads and development teams, to make data-driven decisions to optimize the player experience and business goals, all while prioritizing a player-first approach and maintaining alignment with Red Games Co. core values.

Key responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Defining the long-term vision and product strategy for the game, including feature development, monetization strategies, and user experience improvements.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Analyzing player data to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement, using this information to inform product decisions.
  • Roadmap Development: Creating and managing a product roadmap, prioritizing features based on effective monetization, player feedback, other business needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Working closely with the game’s creative and development team, marketing, analytics, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the product strategy.
  • Player Feedback Collection: Actively gathering player feedback through surveys, focus groups, and in-game analytics to understand player needs and concerns.
  • A/B Testing and Experimentation: Designing and conducting A/B testing to validate product ideas and optimize features for maximum player engagement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Clearly communicating product plans and updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Extensive prior experience in product management, with a strong track record of achieving targeted business goals.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management for relevant and successful F2P games, preferably with mobile RTS, MOBA, or similar genre experience
  • Ability to clearly synthesize insights from analysis and research to diagnose root causes of problems and inform future initiatives
  • Strong communication and influence skills, able to work well with others
  • Strong execution skills with bias to action and track record in improving key KPI’s and monetization for F2P games
  • Passion for mobile games and a deep understanding of the industry trends.
