Position Description:
The Senior PM will work with the designated client’s health promotion team to raise awareness of their well-being program and the WebMD products and services that enable it. This person will work with the account team to help develop the client’s strategic wellness plan, goals, and measurable objectives in alignment with WebMD and the direction and priorities of the client.
The Senior PM will collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to assist in the development of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach that supports participant health and well-being.
The successful candidate will have a background in exercise, health promotion, nutrition, or a related field.
This is a remote position based in/around Austin with significant travel (up to 60%) throughout the state.
In this role, you will:
Develop an annual wellness strategy and annual plan
Provide recommendations to build a culture of health through the promotion of WebMD’s platform and products
As requested, attend meetings with leaders, wellness councils, and/or teams to provide insight, data, and strategies to support the evolution of the well-being program
Establish relationships and buy-in from key stakeholders
Prepare for and assist with leading client strategy meetings
Promote client’s well-being offerings
Coordinate, plan, and facilitate health and fitness activities and programs for employees
Plan and implement classes, speakers, seminars, tabling events, and challenges
Develop promotional materials, such as videos, blogs, or newsletters, and other marketing materials
Assist and facilitate linkages between benefits, medical, behavioral health/EAP, and other client well-being partners and vendors
Provide educational resources and materials to employees to encourage healthy lifestyle choices
Track and report on all participant-facing activities (e.g., presentations, onsite events, challenges, etc.)
Evaluate and update wellness plan as necessary
requirements:
BA / BS in a health-related field
5 years of relevant health promotion or well-being-related program planning and delivery
Available to travel up to 60% of the time
Approximately 60% of travel will be within the Austin area
Approximately 40% of travel will be outside of Austin, within the state of Texas
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage relationships with multiple client stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Proven adaptability to changing client, program, and account needs
Experience delivering presentations to small and large groups
Proven organizational and time management skills, including the ability to maintain multiple projects while meeting deadlines
Independent problem-solving and decision-making ability
Passion and enthusiasm for interacting with and supporting participant well-being
Excellent communication/people skills, including proven ability to adapt to individual communication styles
Proven experience and comfortability with Google, Microsoft Outlook, and Office products
preferred:
Master’s Degree in a health-related field
Professional Certification from the National Wellness Institute (NWI), The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), or the equivalent certification will be considered
Experience working in the government sector is a plus
