Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer at WebMD, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing new applications that directly improve patient experiences and outcomes. You will collaborate with various teams, including product, design, and data science, to brainstorm ideas, prototype solutions, and refine features. You will also review PRs, propose emerging technologies, and guide the team in balancing maintainability, performance, and functionality. Additionally, you will mentor peers, helping them grow and adopt efficient, scalable coding practices, and take ownership of projects that have a real impact on healthcare.
Must have:
- C# programming language
- .Net Framework and .NET Core expertise
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Git for version control
- Experience with Unit Testing
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Experience with Messaging & queuing
Good to have:
- Experience in the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of HIPAA requirements
- Knowledge of architectural approaches, such as microservices
- Docker / Containerization experience
- GitLab experience
- PostgreSQL experience

Education: B.E. Computer Science/IT degree (or any other engineering discipline)
Experience: 8+ years
Experience you will have:
