The Steward maintains cleanliness in assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming guest experience at Sphere Entertainment Co.'s Las Vegas venue. Responsibilities include cleaning appliances, emptying trash, mopping floors and walls, washing smallwares and cooking vessels, ensuring sanitation and proper storage. Exceptional guest service is crucial, requiring communication of guest requests to supervisors and adherence to company standards. Stewards also report accidents, support kitchen staff, and handle opening/closing duties. Compliance with health codes and food safety procedures is mandatory.

Who are we hiring?

The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their assigned locations in addition to ensuring guests are met with a clean, inviting environment.  

What will you do?

  • Responsible for cleaning appliances and machines, emptying trash receptacles, washing, and mopping floors, walls, ceiling, vents, hoods, and bathrooms.
  • Responsible for washing of smallwares and cooking vessels in each area. Ensure items are sanitized, restocked and in stored in proper areas. 
  • Ensures each guest receives outstanding guest service by adhering to the company’s Standards.
  • Communicates guest’s requests to stand level supervisors or area supervisors.
  • Perform opening and closing responsibilities per location as presented by manager. 
  • Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures when necessary.
  • Support kitchen and concession staff by assisting with additional tasks, as needed. 

What do you need to succeed?

  • Must comply with cleaning and sanitation guidelines according to the Southern Nevada Health Code 
  • Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures. 
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills. 
  • Exceptional time management skills. 

Special Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift. Must be comfortable with heights. 
  • Must be able to lift over 50 pounds. 
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.  
  • Certifications 
    • Food Handler Safety Training Card

Hourly Pay Range
$21.15$21.15 USD
