Responsibilities:
As a Senior Associate, you'll work as one of our community of problem solvers, in one of our strategically important growth areas. Your impact will be felt by:
Participation in various Sustainability Assurance and Sustainability related consulting projects
Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
Train and lead staff
Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
Essential skills & experience:
Completed University degree in business, technical or scientific field (Finance, Economics, Environmental Sciences and Policy, Sustainable development, Environmental science)
Understanding of sustainability regulation and reporting standards
Assurance experience, including evaluating controls over financial and non-financial processes
Understanding of some key non-financial assurance reporting and assurance standards and frameworks e.g. ISAE 3000, ISAE 3410
Strong project management skills and a demonstrable experience of working on multiple engagements and managing your time effectively
A key focus on delivering high quality work to tight deadlines
The ability to apply independent judgment during engagements and to support conclusions reached by management.
The ability to coach junior team members.
Exceptional client relationship and communication skills
A willingness to learn new skills and help develop and innovate new client propositions
Fluency in English (both oral and written)
Prior consulting experience is highly desirable, but not a prerequisite
