As a Technical Program Manager at Google Cloud Public Sector, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from initiation to completion. Responsibilities include program planning, delivery assurance, risk management, and stakeholder communication. You'll work with engineering teams to meet government requirements, manage risks and issues, and recommend integration strategies. The role requires strong technical skills, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and experience with various project management tools and methodologies. You will also collaborate with customers, partners, and internal Google teams to deliver Google solutions. This position demands an active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with managing execution of programs.
  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Google Cloud Professional Certification or PMP certification.
  • Experience with various project management tools/ methodologies and respective tradeoffs.
  • Experience with Generative AI frameworks, models, and tools.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and introduce structure.
  • Ability to drive technical discussions or resolve technical issues with Engineering leads.

Failure to maintain (or obtain, if applicable) the appropriate U.S. Government clearance or customer screening requirements that results in the employee unable to perform the requirements of the role, may result in employment action up to and including termination.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the program management of multi-functional Google Cloud Professional Services projects, covering program planning, delivery assurance and verification, tracking and reporting, strategic thinking, and risk and mitigation planning.
  • Help customers, partners, and Google teams navigate the business and technical processes for delivering Google solutions and coordinate with Google Engineering teams to meet government statutory and regulatory requirements for delivery quality, where needed.
  • Engage Google Cloud engineering resources to manage the risks, issues and actions for accounts, and track them regularly to meet the expected outcomes and timelines, make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement a complete solution.
  • Build mitigation plans as the program evolves.
  • Transform projects/processes into sub-projects and sub-processes that could be executed by other teams or partners.
