Job Description

The UA/Performance Marketing Manager at Halfbrick will be responsible for acquiring high-value players across their mobile titles. This role involves planning, launching, and managing user acquisition campaigns across various channels (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.). The manager will analyze and optimize campaign performance based on KPIs like CPI, ROAS, LTV, and retention, collaborating with creative, product, and data teams. Responsibilities include budget management, A/B testing, monitoring industry trends, and identifying new acquisition opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about games, have experience running paid campaigns, and be familiar with attribution and analytics tools.

About the opportunity

As our UA / Performance Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for acquiring high-value players across our mobile titles, working closely with the marketing, product, creative, and analytics teams. You’ll lead the strategy, execution, and optimisation of campaigns to ensure we're bringing the right players into our ecosystem – and keeping them.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, and manage user acquisition campaigns across major channels (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Unity Ads, IronSource, etc.)
  • Analyse and optimise campaign performance based on key KPIs such as CPI, ROAS, LTV, and retention.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to guide ad concepts and iterate on high-performing assets.
  • Work closely with product and data teams to align acquisition efforts with in-game performance and monetisation goals.
  • Own budgets, pacing, and performance reporting for active campaigns.
  • A/B test creative, copy, targeting, and placements to continuously improve results.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and platform changes to stay ahead.
  • Identify new opportunities and channels to scale our player base sustainably.

Skills/Qualifications

  • You live and breathe games, and you’re passionate about Halfbrick’s games.
  • Confident running and optimising paid campaigns across key channels.
  • Strong understanding of growth metrics and performance KPIs.
  • Familiar with attribution and analytics tools (e.g. Appsflyer, Firebase, etc.)
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally.
  • Up-to-date with UA trends, privacy changes, and best practices.

Pluses

  • Experience with global campaigns and scaling live titles.
  • Knowledge of creative testing and playable ads.
  • Comfortable briefing and giving feedback on ad creatives.
  • Interest in mobile games and pop culture.
  • Experience supporting soft launches or new game releases.
