Requirements:
This is a 13-month placement opportunity, running from July 1st, 2025, to July 31st, 2026.
Applicants must be able to live and work in the UK as a hybrid worker, with regular travel to the Reading HQ.
Candidates should be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program. Degrees include Business Management, Economics, and Marketing-related courses.
What you will achieve:
As an Intern in the Office of the MD, you will play a key support role to the UK & Ireland (UKI) Managing Director. You will be working directly with the MD’s Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant.
Your role will entail working closely with numerous teams, offering an incredible opportunity to learn and collaborate with a wide range of amazing people dedicated to delivering the best user experience.
What you put in is what you will get out. Many interns often return to HP after they have finished their studies, either in the same team or elsewhere across the company. The current CEO, Enrique Lores, was once an intern. Start your journey with HP; the possibilities are endless.
Key Responsibilities:
Support UKI webinars
Support critical internal communications
Create quarterly newsletters and general ad-hoc communications
Help run the HP UK Sports & Social Club, actively working with the Site Leads as well as the Intern Charity Committee to plan fund-raising and site engagement events
Manage customer complaints that come into the MD’s office – maintain log and ensure complaints are followed up in a timely manner
Maintain Crisis Management data library
Manage process for a variety of UKI recognition programmes
Help organise events and manage schedules of exec visits to the UK offices
Manage agenda and attendees for weekly extended staff meetings
Help with day to day running of Exec Office and ad-hoc tasks
Lead the co-ordination of the Impact Networks, working directly with the leadership to drive and own joint projects.
What we are looking for:
Someone with an eye for detail, strong organisation and time management skills.
Self-motivated actively searching our opportunities to add value.
Resourceful person that can provide solutions to problems using own initiative.
Taking ownership of projects, including personal development
Preferred degrees, but not essential, include Business Management and Marketing/Communication related courses.
