An exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer role in the Large Pressure Vessels Producibility Team has arisen within the New Build and Components Business, in Nuclear (Submarines).

The purpose of this role is to Provide technical support to operations and execute Manufacturing Engineering activities to develop, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture, which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet business and customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, deliver rate and leadtime (SQCD).

As our Vessels Producibility Engineer you will act as the primary Manufacturing Engineering representative within the cross-functional team for their owned part(s).Work cross functionally with the Integrated Product & Production Readiness process (IPPR), planning and co-ordinating Man Eng activities in line with the IPPR deliverables and programme schedule

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place.
