As a Senior Video Editor, you will edit video sequences independently, ensuring that deadlines and high-quality standards are met. Your creativity will be a major asset, as you will bring an artistic and innovative vision to projects.  

You will also supervise and validate the assets created by the artists throughout their integration into the editing process. You will provide constructive feedback to ensure the quality and consistency of the rendering. As a senior team member, you will also be responsible for mentoring other, less experienced team members. 

In this role you will :

    • Pre-production: Your participation in the pre-production phases will be crucial to include innovative ideas and realize relevant sequences; 
    • Post-production: You'll oversee the entire process, including color grading, audio mixing, and special effects integration, ensuring a high-quality final product. In addition, you will be responsible for organizing and managing video files and assets, ensuring their integrity and accessibility throughout the project;
    • Collaboration: You'll work in close synergy with the Video Art Director, other video editors, and clients to fully understand the specific needs of each project. You will also collaborate with the capture team to film in-game sequences; 
    • Quality control: Your attention to detail will translate into rigorous quality control throughout production, ensuring that deliverables meet the company's high standards;
    • Trend Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously track and analyze the latest trends technologies, and tools in the video industry, enabling you to integrate best practices into your work;
    • Optimizing tools: You'll be proactive in improving the tools you use, and constantly on the lookout for new techniques to perfect your art;   
    • Mentoring: You will foster a collaborative environment and share essential knowledge with more junior team members. 

What we're looking for :

    • Experience: Minimum 7 years experience in video editing, with a leadership role on previous projects, as well as editing/directing film and/or video game trailers; 
    • Degree in film, audiovisual, or related field; 
    • Software: Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, etc.) and visual effects software (After Effects); 
    • Technical Skills: Good knowledge of filming, lighting and sound techniques;
    • Time management: Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines; 
    • Initiative: Ability to propose innovative solutions and anticipate project needs.
