Valeo’s VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

The site of Bietigheim-Bissingen based in Germany belongs to BRAIN Division. We are looking for a VIE Industrial Purchasing for 12 months.

Your challenges?

• You will manage material purchasing, series production and projects, ensuring alignment with Valeo standards. 

• You will negotiate and maintain rates and agreements with suppliers in collaboration with the site CFO and segment managers. 

• You will ensure compliance by optimizing the use of all Valeo procurement procedures and standards. 

• You will foster strong supplier relationships by coordinating and participating in regular evaluation meetings with preferred suppliers. 

• You will provide administrative support to Purchasing Managers as required, ensuring smooth workflow and communication. 

• You will promote the most advantageous purchasing practices over purely cost-driven decisions, ensuring quality and efficiency.

• You will resolve account issues promptly, tackling any problems that arise as quickly as possible.

 Let’s talk about you…

• You are graduated from a master degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Commerce International,

• You already have experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain (ideally in the automotive field)

• You have a fluent level of English

• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
