Job Description

The Account Manager, Apps Team, focuses on driving growth for assigned Google clients. Responsibilities include analyzing industry trends and market opportunities to develop tailored strategies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute marketing campaigns, and summarizing insights and best practices for the team. The role requires fluent English and Mandarin communication for client relationship management. The ideal candidate possesses experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, or a related field, along with strong analytical and communication skills. They work with large businesses, advising them on various Google products to connect effectively with their audiences and achieve business goals.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in digital advertising/sales
  • Fluent English and Mandarin
  • Client relationship management
  • Data analysis & presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking & problem-solving
Good to have:
  • Experience in advertising sales and media account management
  • Experience with spreadsheets/analysis and presentations
  • Ability to strategically think and analyze the needs of clients
  • Ability to meet productivity standards and deadlines
  • Excellent business sense, problem-solving, project management skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising sales and media account management.
  • Experience with spreadsheets/analysis and presentations.
  • Ability to strategically think and analyze the needs of clients.
  • Ability to meet productivity standards and deadlines.
  • Excellent business sense, problem-solving, project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business partners to drive the growth of an assigned customer/vertical.
  • Conduct analysis of industry, markets, and audience to develop opportunities for customers and the vertical.
  • Summarize insights and best practices actively, and share them within the team and vertical.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, drive strategy and execution of advertiser's marketing campaigns.
