Job Description

The Global Analytical Lead at Google's Global Clients and Agency Solutions (GCAS) is responsible for improving clients' measurement maturity. This involves discovering measurement gaps, proposing roadmaps for improvement, executing measurement projects using Google solutions and third-party tools, and analyzing the implementation of recommendations. The role requires creating compelling narratives for clients, distilling advice from measurement output, and building visualizations and dashboards. Responsibilities include providing consulting on client strategies, developing analytical models, collaborating with sales teams to drive business growth, and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills, along with experience in media analytics, advertising, and marketing.
Must have:
  • 5+ years experience in media analytics, advertising, or consulting
  • Experience with marketing measurement and attribution
  • Proficiency in data analysis and storytelling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Google advertising products and SQL
Good to have:
  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform
  • Experience building dashboards and automating reports

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc).
  • 1 year of experience with a client-facing role influencing across levels.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materializing tables).
  • Ability to analyze data sets and distill them into insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.

As the Global Analytical Lead, you will be responsible for discovering clients’ measurement setup and gaps, proposing a roadmap to improve their measurement maturity, executing measurement projects with Google solutions and third-parties, and analyzing the implementation of recommendations.

You will create and present compelling narratives to client stakeholders, distill clear advice from measurement output, and set up visualizations and dashboards to support proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and consulting on client's/partner’s strategy in the areas of sales, marketing, or product development, and translate data into answers to business questions or insights to facilitate business decision-making.
  • Develop and own analytical modeling for key client/partner projects, apply or customize analytical tools (e.g., dashboards) and frameworks to identify opportunities, and develop solutions to optimize client/partner business and support the use and effectiveness of Google products.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth with clients/partners, conduct analysis and identify business opportunities, and support the development of go-to-market business pitch and marketing collateral.
  • Build and manage relationships with client/partner stakeholders across functions and levels, and own the relationship with the data/analytical stakeholders on the client’s/partner’s side.
